Laurie Ruettimann is my blogging idol.
The point of telling you? I’m following her lead. For my end of year posts, I’m talking about accomplishments, failure, regrets, and resolutions. I can’t promise I’ll stick to posting daily as I’m taking a flight at the crack of dawn to North Carolina tomorrow for a big spoonful of guilt and grief from my family but it can be my pre New Year resolution. The blogging will probably also sit in the pre New Year fail column.
What? I’m being honest. I love a good fail.
So, my accomplishments of the year:
- Blogging: I’ve been busy between traveling, changing jobs and wedding planning but I’m still taking the time to put all the advice I give into posts. So even if it sucks, I’m writing it and that’s more than I could say a year ago.
- Facebook Rainmaker: Someone I really trust said this re: the work I’ve done at my new job on our Facebook page. It was the best compliment ever and helped me realize that I’m good at this social media stuff.
- Change: I made some big changes this year personally and professionally. I wanted a career and I took a risk to get it. Know that risk can be awesome.
