Cards for Coworkers: Thoughtful Greeting Cards for Your Team

You can buy my first limited edition run of cards for coworkers here. I started 2025 at a party where we created vision boards. My girlfriend and one of her best friends put together the most elaborate setup with magazines and paint. Even the decorations were elegant. There was something about it that inspired me to really look for little signs in those magazines and reflect on what this year could hold.

To be transparent, vision boards haven’t ever been my thing. If you’d told me they would inspire me, I’d probably have laughed. I’m just not that artistic, and I imagined my vision board would look like something a 5-year-old who didn’t know how to use scissors put together.

Instead, I left with something I proudly propped up on a shelf right next to the bed. Now, I look at it all the time. When good things happen, I can glance up at that board and see how they clearly align with the vision I had for what I could create this year.

One of the phrases I slapped on my board was “creativity without expectations.” To me, that means doing what inspires me without trying to attach profit goals or performance metrics. This year, I just wanted to try new things because they made my brain feel good.

And that’s how CardsForCoworkers was born.

Earlier this year, I went looking for a greeting card to send someone on my team. I was surprised to find that the only options were those “don’t let the door hit you on the way out” kinds. The “you’re going to miss me” cards, and every other variation of “why would you leave me in this hell hole” work cards were everywhere.

But I like the people I work with and they’re not quitting. I also didn't want to make my own card. I wanted to send a card that didn’t look like it came from my kindergarten art class.

So, I sat down with Lauren, my favorite marketing collaborator (who also happens to be my girlfriend — yes, you can work with her too, and we designed a series of cards. Each photo is from my travels to places like the Tetons, Alaska, Montana, and beyond. The phrases are real things I often say to my team. We also picked the postcard format so there’s no pressure to write a thousand words of gratitude if you’re not feeling particularly wordy.

Currently, I’m on sabbatical in Italy, but I couldn’t keep this secret any longer. If you’re interested in purchasing some cards, they’ll be available no later than Halloween 2025.

Now, if you got this URL from a card I sent you, that means you’re one of the first 15 people in the world to hold one of these cards. I have dreams of becoming an author and speaker full-time, and your support — whether through my corporate recruiter trainings or purchasing bulk orders of books — helps me get closer to that dream.

I’ll never have a way big enough to say thank you for that support, but I wanted to start here. You can learn more and get your set here.
