    Figuring Out Why

I'm not quite sure what my purpose is -- what I'll do to make a difference in the world. As I start to change and evolve, especially over the past year, I think I'm getting closer. At least I hope I am. I'm trying to use every day to try new things and be more open to moments that aren't in my comfort zone.  Stopping to look around every once in awhile and really appreciate what beauty even the smallest change can bring.

It's so easy to be comfortable and consistent but it's also a silent misery. I look back on some of my most frustrating moments and realize that I spent a lot of time looking at all the things I wasn't happy with, never acknowledging that I was the only thing consistent in all of those moments. I was looking too far away to recognize that things change when I change. Things change when I relax and appreciate that change is a good thing, not a disturbance to some perfect scenario. Perfect is imperfect and I'm confident that once I do figure out my purpose in these days, all the speed bumps and self awareness will finally be put to good use. For now, it makes great blog babble.
