    Scariest Job Posts of 2024

Excited to continue our tradition of sharing this year’s scariest job posts with everyone. But first, I want to talk a little bit about how AI has changed the landscape for scary job posts. I mean, in theory all of you have tools right at your fingertips to write better job postings. Yet still, this year’s list is a broad collection of bad posts. Why?

Well, any job post writing AI can make something sound good. But sounding good with a series of buzzwords that roll off the tongue isn’t the real problem. The real problem with these job posts is that they don’t tell the truth. Not knowing what you’re getting into when you start a new job? That’s scary.

Remember that the AI can’t tell you, a recruiter, that you aren’t accurately describing a role. That you’re not listing the right requirements. That’s why in this era of evolution, you have to get back to basics. Your team needs to know what good means - especially when writing up a new requisition. Or else you might end up on this list, too. (Get job post training for your team here.)

This is just scary. You're not sharing your values, you're showing your dark side with this kind of content.

    That's... not a pay range.
